We decided to take a look at one of Brother’s newest line of all-in-ones, the MFC-L2750DW. If you’re looking for the features of a full sized multi-function copier packed into a convenient desktop size the Brother MFC-L2750DW has it. Fast print speed and super high yield cartridges to save time and money. Loaded with convenient print and scan features to increase productivity.
Compatibility with the latest cloud storage services is a must in today’s office. In addition to the most used cloud services the Brother MFC-L2750DW all-in-one comes with could scanning and printing apps by Brother. Wireless printing from smartphones is made easy with one button touch setup.
Single pass duplex scanning and ID card copy, for example, are rare features among all-in-ones. Single pass scanning means 2 sided originals don’t have to be flipped and feed again to scan the second side. There is a read unit for each side. Which means there is less chance of a jam and it is significantly faster than traditional document feeders. ID copy is useful for combining both sides of a drivers license or insurance card onto a single page.
The Brother MFC-L2750DW all-in-one comes with useful features such as Fax forwarding and Secure PDF. Secure PDF is a way to add a level of security to scanned documents. It will add a password of your choosing to any scanned files. Fax forwarding will save paper and time by forwarding incoming faxes to an email address or shared folder for archiving.
Another significant feature is the 2.7 inch color Touchscreen. This makes navigating through the menus so much easier. Instead of searching for hard buttons on the panel, most of the necessary prompts will show up on the touchscreen. Something as simple as printing a file from a USB drive can be a challenge with many all-in-ones. A 2.7 inch color Touchscreen can make all the difference in the world for such a task.

When setting up these printers for my customers I send B&W and color test pages to make sure everything is working. I found the color print speed to be 1.2 pages per minute slower than the specs. Although my test page has much more coverage than the ISO/IEC 19798 and 24711 color test pages.
When I printed my simple B&W test page I found the print speed was 1.8 pages per minute faster. However, my test page was only a few lines of text and a block of greyscale. Much less coverage than the ISO/IEC 19752 standard test page.
When I placed the Brother MFC-L2750DW on my scale, it weighed 27 lbs. I also used my ruler to measure the printer. My results are it is .5 inches narrower, 1.8 inches less deep, but .1 inches taller than the specs.
Besides paper, the only supplies for this all-in-one are a toner cartridge and drum unit. Brother offers toner cartridges with three different yields: 1200, 3000, and 4500 pages respectively. The drum unit lasts 12,000 or more pages depending on the type of paper.
- TN730 cartridge 1,200 pages
- TN760 cartridge 3,000 pages
- TN770 cartridge 4,500 pages
- DR730 drum unit 12,000 pages
Summary of the MFC-L2750DW
Combining a printer, a scanner, and a fax machine into one piece of office equipment means there will be some high expectations from that device. Those expectations will not be disappointed by the Brother MFC-L2750DW. This all-in-one is loaded with useful features and would be an asset to any small office or home office.4.5 Stars!
The Copier Guy, aka Dave. I’ve worked on scanners, printers, copiers, and faxes over 23 years. When I’m not fixing them I’m writing about them. Although, I’m probably better at fixing them. I have certificates from Canon, Xerox. Ricoh, Kyocera, Lexmark, HP, and Konica Minolta. My experience includes other brands as well as several types of processes. If it uses paper I’ve probably worked on one.
